Harvey Heidbreder

Harvey became interested in older forms of music while growing up listening to his mother’s side of the family playing fiddle music and other old styles of country music. After performing in the Missouri Town Band, Harvey was hooked on old-time music. Missouri Town is an attraction at Lake Jacomo, near Kansas City, where visitors can experience what a town in Missouri was like, circa 1855. Harvey has recorded with many bands, including the Butterfly Brass Band and appeared with Grass Fire in Silver Dollar City, near Branson, Missouri. In addition to the bass, Harvey also plays the mandolin, fiddle and guitar. Besides music, Harvey also enjoys golf and fishing.
